The Better Body Group work with schools, sports clubs and university athletes, as well as regional and national competitors. We use the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and physical performance tests (matched to your sport or athletic event) to identify possible areas of improvement and concern.
We’ll use the results, working in collaboration with your coach or team as necessary, to build a specifically personalised programme, in sync with your sport’s season, making sure you’re ready to perform when it counts. We’ll focus on attributes such as strength, speed, power, flexibility and endurance as is appropriate to you and your goals.
Like all our programmes, strength and conditioning at the BBG starts with a free 30 minute consultation to assess your current levels, as well as identify your targets and goals as an athlete.
The S&C personal training team is run by Hamzat Ahmed and made up of exercise specialists with a passionate interest in strength training. As always, you can expect graduate and postgraduate qualifications to match their enthusiasm, and sporting backgrounds up to and including Olympic level.
